Chesterton
pair establish new Docklands agency - The Financial Times
__________________________________________________
Two ex-Chesterton staff have set up their own agency in London's docklands.
Rupert Cherryman, former head of Chesterton's London Docklands office, and Bob Ashton, who headed Chesterton's residential development in the area, have joined forces to set up the business.
Cherryman said that even though Chesterton failed, there were parts of the business that were successful.
Grant Thornton said the only remaining assets left to be sold were minority holdings in some foreign offices and a 4% stake in the Investment Property Databank.
The receiver has been accused of selling the estate agent too cheaply.
